About the Band
"We make rock music and spend way too much time making videos for all our songs."
Mr. GnG is a two-piece rock band born from an unlikely pandemic reunion. Ishan Dave (India) and Abhilash Sreekumar (France) were college friends who reconnected after six years apart and realised they had unfinished musical business.
Recording and producing remotely across continents, the duo crafted their debut EP EPonymous — five songs, five music videos — dropping it on Christmas Day 2022. The record moves through themes of farewell, longing, hope, and raw catharsis, with each track paired with a dedicated visual.
In 2025, they returned with after Us, The Flood — a full-length album and a significant leap forward. Twelve tracks exploring self-doubt, abandonment, and existential vulnerability, featuring guest appearances from LA guitarist Rudy Ayoub and guitarist Aatrey Bhatt.
For mrgng, the sonic and the visual are inseparable. Everything is self-produced, self-directed, and uncompromising — from the studio to the stage.
The live line up consists of session players based in Ahmedabad.
